What Does this Sonography Result Mean?

Hello sir, My dad is suffering from stomach pain since 1 months. We did sonography and report says: 1. Mild splenomegaly. 2. Mesenteric haziness with few subcentimeter sized nodes in the left lumbar region at the site of pain, likely suggesting mesenteric panniculitis. We are doing treatment since last 20 days, no effective result come yet. Day by day he is suffering alot. I dont know what may be the reasons & How much time takes for treatment?? Please advice What should I do..... Thank you

hello and welcome to HCM,
Mesenteric panniculitis is a progressive and irreversible condition.
Treatment is predominantly supportive.
If the panniculitis is extensive surgical intervention may be required.
Consult your treating doctor for further modality of treatment.

Thanks and take care
